Copy the sample portal page and rename it.
Filter every list so it shows only that client.
Tick Visible to client on the tasks you want them to see.
Share the page link, not the admin home.
Keep internal tasks unticked. They stay hidden from the portal.
What the client sees
Only the tasks ticked Visible to client, the files marked approved, and the updates you post. They never see the admin home or the other clients. Check the portal page signed out before you send the link.
Keeping it current
Post one short update a week even when nothing changed; silence is what makes clients nervous.
Move a task to Waiting on client the moment you need something, so the dashboard shows it.
An approval is a record that someone said yes. Capture it in the file row so that nobody has to search email later.

If the client does not answer
Day 3: a one-line reminder with the link.
Day 7: a call or message, and a note in the update log.
Move the dependent task to Waiting on client so the schedule is honest.
